Earthquake in Kabardino-Balkaria

Last night an earthquake with a magnitude of about 3.1 points hit the town of Prohladnoe in Kabardino-Balkaria, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reports.

The epicenter of t he quake was located 10 km under the surface, about 50 km north-east of Nalchik. There is no data on casualties or damage.

The ministry of emergency situations of Kabardino-Balkaria has not reported about the earthquake on its website.
