Ukrainian president to bring peace using diplomacy and army

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said today that he was expecting to achieve peace in the country using diplomats and the army. He noted that the military's spirit was high and the army very effective, UNIAN reports.

The president added that the upcoming meeting of German and French leaders in the Normandy format will encourage development of an agreement. The Geneva format meeting attended by the authorities of the EU and the U.S. will be dedicated to that, Poroshenko said.
