More citizens of Ukraine and Moldova began arriving in Russia, despite an overall decline of migration flows.

"In 2015, compared to the year 2014, we are registering a decline of nearly 70% in the number of entries and exits of foreign nationals," the head of the Russian Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsk told Interfax.

Romodanovsky noted that at present there is a decrease in the number of Central Asian citizens in Russia, except from Kyrgyzstan. "Perhaps this is due to the complexity of finding low-skilled jobs," he believes. "At the same time, we note the increased presence of Moldovan and Ukrainian citizens in Russia. We are talking about millions of Ukrainians of working age. There is a kind of substitution. It is important that we are talking about the most significant in the number of categories.

Also, there is a very marked increase in entry and stay in Russia of citizens of China, and North and South Koreas," the Head of the Federal Migration Service said.
