RF adopts regional IT development concept

The prime minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed an act of approval of the concept of regional IT development.

The concept determines key targets and directions of the work on using information and communication technologies in state bodies of regions of the Russian Federation till 2018, as well as an organizational model of monitoring the work, TASS reports.

The previous concept was adopted in 2006, it completed its operation in 2010. There was no document coordinating the process of IT development in Russian regions from 2010 to 2014.
