Siluanov: Russia has the right to demand early repayment from Ukraine

However, Moscow has not yet decided whether to demand early repayment. This statement was made Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
"Ukraine has violated the terms of a $3 billion Russian loan, but a decision has not been yet," RIA Novosti cited the minister.
"It's a surprising fact that the state budget of Ukraine for settlement of state obligations of the amount of $3 billion is not provided. And in front of other borrowers, in particular the IMF, such obligations are performed and will be performed by Ukraine", Siluanov stressed.
"So Russia definitely has the right to demand early return of this loan. At the same time, at present this decision has not yet been taken," he added.
