Azerbaijani writer Gulshan Latif gyzy Kyazimova dies

Today the Azerbaijani writer Gulshan Latif gyzy Kyazimova passed away in The Hague. She had lived in the Netherlands for the last 20 years, but the funeral will be held in Baku.

Gulshan Latif's novel "Girls of Our Kin" (Bizim nəslin qızları) won the International Competition of Literature held in Russia in 2009, and her novel "The Island of Azeraida" was recognized as one of the most widely read books in the last five years.
