Storm warning declared on Kerch Strait

Rescuers have declared a storm warning on the Kerch Strait between Crimea and Russia today. As of 5.00pm, the wind speed reached 20m/s. The Olimpiada and Ionas ferries are currently operating, RIA Novosti reports.

There are no car lines at ports Kavkaz and Krym. The car queue on the Novorossiysk-Kerch ferry line has become shorter: 47 cars are waiting for the ferry in the Krasnodar Territory and 25 in Crimea.

Hundreds of cars had gathered at ports Kavkaz and Krym on Saturday due to a storm. The queue had ended on Sunday morning.
