Suspected plotters of terrorist attack on Istanbul’s Sultanahmet Square detained

 

The police have detained 6 people suspected of planning a terrorist attack on the Sultanahmet Square in Istanbul. Four of the detained suspects are of Chechen origin, Hurriyet reports.According to an earlier report, the suicide bomber at the Istanbul center was a Russian citizen named Diana Ramazova.A police officer and the bomber died in the explosion on the Sultanahmet Square on January 6.
