2015 declared Tourism Year in Ingushetia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIngush Leader Yunus-bek Yevkurov has signed an edict declaring 2015 Tourism Year in the republic. The Federal Tourism Agency of Russia and the Ingush government signed an agreement in late December 2014. According to the document, the federal center will grant Ingushetia funds within the framework of the 2011-2018 program for development of domestic and international tourism.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on December 29, 2014 to create tourism and recreation clusters in Russia, one of them will be the All-Season Tourism Center in Ingushetia.
Stanislav Aristov, the head of the Ingush tourism committee, said that the Center will cost 2 billion rubles and will have opened by 2018. It has been under construction since 2014 as a public-private project. 500 million rubles have been provided from the federal budget, 300 million rubles from the republican budget, 1.2 billion rubles from investors.
The Center will include the Tower of Consent, a park zone, an aqua park for 2,000 visitors a day, a trade and recreation center, a five-star hotel with 40 rooms, an exhibition hall, a festive hall and an equestrian school and a bus terminal. The tower, hotel, bus terminal, festive hall and the equestrian school will open this year.
