Almost 2,000 hectares to be demined in Chechnya and Ingushetia in 2015

1803 hectares of agricultural lands in Chechnya and Ingushetia will be cleared of explosive objects by engineers of the Southern Military District this year, TASS reports.

Over 3200 hectares (122% of annual plan) were cleared of explosive objects in 2014. About 3200 explosive objects were neutralized. Engineers of the Southern Military District have been mine-sweeping the two republics since 2012.
