Turkey calls on Iran to participate in discussion of regional issues

Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu on the eve of a meeting with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi said that Turkey stands for the greatest possible participation of Iran in regional and international issues.
With reference to the situation in the region and the crises caused by the spread of terrorism, Vaezi at this meeting stressed: "Iran and Turkey as two important regional states should cooperate in the fight against this destructive phenomenon of terrorism on the basis of a realistic and effective approach.”
Vaezi called the new partnership a suitable model for a settlement of the Syrian crisis, and said: "Iran respects the integrity of the territory of Iraq and strongly opposed the split of the country, and regarding Syria also believes that, taking into account the situation in the country and with the aim of bringing peace and stability, determining the political future of the country is necessary to provide to the Syrian people."
