Switzerland wants to cooperate with Chechnya

A delegation from Switzerland has arrived in Chechnya to get acquainted with the country and to evaluate its economic potential.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Russia Pierre Helg leads the delegation. The group consists of Adviser to the Embassy of Switzerland in Russia Elisabeth Boesch Malinen, project manager of the Swiss Embassy in Russia Dorothea Koldo Korovin and an expert on the readmission of the Federal Office for Migration Switzerland Marie-José Gillet.

"Russia for Switzerland is a priority country for business. 600 Swiss companies are working here that made an opportunity to create up 80 thousand jobs. In Switzerland there are 350 Russian companies. The history of the Chechen Republic is very interesting. We are honored to be here," the site of head of the Chechen government cites Helg.
