Azerbaijani culture week in Megeve

In the French town of Megeve in the framework of the project "Cultural values of the pearl of Caucasus - Azerbaijan", implemented with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Embassy of the RA in order to further popularize the republic in the country, Azerbaijani Cultural Week was launched yesterday.

There were many activities for the occasion, the exhibition "Cultural values of the pearl of the Caucasus - Azerbaijan", which demonstrates exhibits that reflect the life and work of genius Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi, a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and USSR, Aliyar Alimirzoev's paintings, depicting the nature of Gusar region, whose works are kept in museums and displayed at exhibitions in various countries. 

In addition, as part of Azerbaijani cultural week in Megeve, employees of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation provided school students with detailed information about Azerbaijani realities, treated them with national sweets, Trend reports.
