Ukraine's president vows not to cede Donetsk

"We will cede not a single piece of the Ukrainian land, we will revive Donbass and demonstrate that our strength is in unity,” Itar Tass quotes Poroshenko as saying at a march in memory of terror victims.

More than 10,000 people took to the streets in Kiev to commemorate the victims of the tragedy near Volnovakha.

On January 13 a bus was hit by a shell, killing 13 civilians and wounding at least 16 others near Volnovakha, Itar Tass reports. Kiev authorities insist that the bus was hit by a shell of the militia, whereas Donetsk People's Republic's representatives claim that the Ukrainian army is responsible for the deaths.
