State of child surviving Gyumri attack worsens

The condition of six-month-old Seryozha Avetisyan, who was seriously injured in the attack in Gyumri on January 12, has worsened. His kidneys and heart are failing. In this regard, a decision to perform peritoneal dialysis has been made, TASS reports with reference to the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

Russian experts with local physicians are providing the necessary medical assistance. They are making every effort to stabilize the condition of the child, who is connected to a ventilator in the intensive care unit of the Surb Astvatsatsin Medical Center.
