Rally against Islamophobia held in Germany

A rally against Islamophobia brought together more than 17 thousand people in Germany.

 

In addition, Germans protested against the activities of the political movement Pegida, whose members planned rallies against the Islamization of Europe on the territory of country. 

 

According to the Munich police, about 10 thousand people went out to protest against attacks on Muslims. 

 

Earlier, Pegida made a request to hold a demonstration, but it was rejected by local authorities.

 

Later, representatives of the movement organized a similar action on January 19 in the Danish capital, Gazeta.ru reports.
