Crimea deprived of Apple products

Apple has banned the sale of its products in Crimea, a leading analyst of the Mobile Research Group Eldar Murtazin reported.

To confirm his words, he laid out a copy of the letter Apple sent to its distributors. "With reference to section 7" Obligations in relation to exports of the "Agreement with an authorized dealer of Apple by 02/06/14, please be advised that from 1st February 2015, according to new sanctions against the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, adopted by the US government on December 19th 2014, you agree not to sell Apple products and/or provide services related to Apple products in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," TASS quotes the text.

The company itself has not commented on this information.
