Shuvalov: Russia is facing rising unemployment

First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, said that the Russian economy should prepare for a rise in unemployment.

"We must prepare for the fact that people will go to market as unemployed" - TASS cited him.

He stressed that one of the objectives of the anti-crisis plan is to help "ordinary citizens and businessmen in Russia to adapt to new realities.

According to Shuvalov, Sberbank CEO German Gref will be part of anti-crisis government commission.
