Ilham Aliyev met CEO of Gaz de France Suez

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has met Chief Executive Officer of Gaz de France Suez, Jean-Louis Chaussade, in Davos on January 23. 

Issues related to future cooperation between Gaz de France Suez and the relevant authorities of Azerbaijan were discussed at the meeting.

During the conversation, the parties also exchanged views over cooperation in the fields of providing the people of Baku and other regions of the country with pure drinking water meeting the standards of the World Health Organization, cleaning up oil-polluted territories on the Absheron peninsula, extraction of gas from the Shah Deniz field and other areas, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
