Kavkazskiye Mineralnye Vody to be a region of innovation

Kavkazskiye Mineralnyye Vody is set to be a region of innovation. The region will soon achieve official status as a center of innovative economic forums, equivalent to those that are held now in Krasnoyarsk or Sochi.

Such an idea was discussed by the Presidential Envoy in the North Caucasian Federal District, Alexander Khloponin, and the Governor of Stavropol Territory, Valery Gayevsky, during the International Economic Forum "Sochi - 2010".

This news was at the center of attention during the Government of the Territory's briefing devoted to the results of the region's participation in the 9th International Forum "Sochi - 2010". The Deputy Chairman of the regional government, Georgy Yefremov, and the
president of the Trade and Industry Chamber of Stavropol Territory, Andrey Murga, answered questions put to them by journalists.

According to Yefremov, a defining feature of Stavropol's forum will be that it will be devoted exclusively to the development of human resources. Its main aim is to improve the living standard of the population.
