Georgia and Lithuania discuss issues of European integration and regional security

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili has met today with the Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius.

 

The sides discussed bilateral relations and prospects for deepening cooperation between the two countries. One of the main topics at the meeting was the issue of regional security. Attention was also paid to the events in Ukraine, a message of the administration of the head of the Georgian state reads.

 

They also discussed cooperation between Georgia and the EU and NATO, and the efforts being made by Georgia on the way toward integrating into these structures.
