New S&P rating hits Russian ruble

The decision by the ratings agency S&P to lower the credit rating of Russia to "speculative" BB + has accelerated the depreciation of the ruble on the Moscow Stock Exchange. 

 

At the time of close of trading the dollar was worth 68.8 rubles, adding 4.56 rubles during the day.

 

The euro exchange rate reached 77.25 rubles, a rise of 5.15 rubles.
