Kazakhstan and Romania discuss development of economic relations

"Bucharest hosted a meeting between Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Romania Daulet Batrashev and the President of Romania’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mihai Daraban. During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects for development of trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Romania, including through the two countries’ chambers of commerce and industry," Trend cited the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The parties exchanged views on the state of the economies of Kazakhstan and Romania and highlighted the existence of a large potential for ties.
"Mihai Daraban expressed interest in strengthening and enhancing bilateral contacts between the business circles of Kazakhstan and Romania. He also said that Romania’s Commerce and Industry Chamber has about 630,000 members who represent the country’s medium-sized and large businesses. Apart from that, he suggested considering the possibility of Kazakhstan using the terminals at the Constanta sea port (cargo, oil and grain terminals)," according to his press release.
After the talks, an agreement was reached on a visit by the chairman of Kazakhstan’s Foreign Trade Chamber Sabr Yessimbekov to Bucharest this year and holding a business forum of the business circles of Kazakhstan and Romania.
