Vereshchagin appointed Minister of North Caucasus Federal District

The Deputy Minister of Regional Development of Russia, Sergey Vereshchagin, was appointed the head of the North Caucasus Federal District Ministry, RIA Novosti reports.

The Ministry was created as a special department of the Regional Development Ministry under the order of the Russian Premier, Vladimir Putin. The establishment of the new bureau was finished in September.
