Unidentified men opened fire at his car when he was leaving a hospital in Grozny, where he was hospitalized on January 30, Novaya Gazeta reports.Last week Khazbiev's home in Nazran was raided by police officers in connection with the theft of a car in Rostov-on-Don. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia reported that during the search the police found weapons. Khazbiev's relatives insist that the evidence was planted into his house.
