Georgian parliament opening its spring session

The agenda of the parliament’s spring session includes a few issues related to personnel, including elections for vacant posts in the Central Election Commission (CEC), and a position of judge in the Constitutional Court of Georgia.
It is also expected that during the spring session the parliament will elect a new chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia and two judges, as well as discussing 41 bills.
The agenda also includes the adoption of amendments related to the purchase of land in Georgia by citizens of other states.
Aside from that, Georgia’s president is expected to present an annual report to the parliament, Trend reports.
