Azerbaijan assesses the damage from the Armenian occupation

The historical and cultural monuments of Azerbaijan were damaged to the amount of $177 billion, and the population’s property -$55.4 billion as a result of the Armenian occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and the seven surrounding districts, president of the MBA LTD appraisal company, a member of the working group on the assessment of damage in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Nusrat Ibrahimov, told a conference entitled "Unique model of developing modern Azerbaijan and the realities of the international assessment of the Armenian aggression". 

According to him, the amount of damage as a result of looting and destroying Azerbaijan’s natural resources by Armenians has exceeded $190 billion so far.

In other words, the total amount of damages assessed by the Azerbaijani side stands at $437.6 billion.

Studies were organized by the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers (AQC).
