Chechen leader recognized as biggest anti-alcohol activist in Russia

 

Russian Chief Addiction Psychiatrist Yevgeny Brun said that Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has won the Man of 2014 in the Fight Against Drugs and Alcoholism Award, presented by the Russian Narcological League and the Narcologists’ Association of Russia, TASS reports.Chechnya is one of the few regions where sale of alcohol is allowed at the age of 21, according to Brun. The doctor noted that similar restrictions could be adopted in Moscow.Magomed Daudov, the head of the Chechen Leader’s Administration, said that the situation around drug addiction was improving all the time.
