Russian government to start regulating prices when they exceed monthly growth by 30%

 

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with the United Russia branch in Bashkiria that the government will start regulating prices of certain products when their monthly growth will exceed 30%, Interfax reports.The PM noted that there was no need for the regulation at the moment. He added that price regulation was often followed by hyper inflation and shortages of products, as people had experienced in the USSR times.
