Russia identifies North Caucasus citizens fighting among Syrian rebels

Russia has identified four Russians fighting in the ranks of militants in Syria as natives of the North Caucasus. A 24-year-old local from Gikalo (Groznensky District, Chechnya) recruited three Ingush citizens in October 2013. They have been taking part in the fight against the Syrian government, the Interior Ministry reports.
