Counter-terrorism operation regime imposed on two districts of Dagestan

A counter-terrorism operation regime was imposed on the Derbentsky and the Tabasaransky districts of Dagestan at 6.00pm today, TASS reports. 

Unidentified assailants attacked a police patrol in the Khasavyurtovsky District on the night of January 6-7. Two police officers died, two were wounded. One attacker was killed. A bomb was found in his house after the incident. A militant leader responsible for the blasts in Volgograd in 2013 and other grave crimes was killed in a special operation in Dagestan on December 12.
