Interim Moscow mayor forces Mitvol to resign.

Vladimir Resin, the interim mayor of Moscow, has dismissed Oleg Mitvol
from the office of Prefect of the Northern Administrative District,
RIA Novosti reports. It was previously reported that Vladimir Resin
proposed Mitvol to resign. "I was not asked to do anything like this,
and why do it if a new mayor is coming soon to form his own team,"
said Mitvol on Tuesday.

Mitvol was appointed Prefect of the Northern Administrative District
of Moscow in July 2009.
