Georgia's former Chief Prosecutor Mamuka Gvaramia and ex-deputy head of the National Forensics Bureau Rostom Lazaria are at large.

Prosecutors of the Tbilisi City Court have accused them of abuse of power and falsification of evidence in connection with the case of the 2005 death of former Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania, but the application was declined.

Gvaramia has called the charges filed against him "politically motivated’". "All this is falsified. They committed the things I am accused of," he said.
