Armenian schools in Istanbul receive 24 thousand school books in Armenian.

Armenian schools in Istanbul will receive 24 thousand schoolbooks in
the Armenian language, reports News.am. The current books have not
been changed since 1930. The pupils will receive CD discs in English
and Turkish with the books.

Currently there are 16 Armenian schools in Istanbul with an Armenian
population of 50 thousand. Only two of them are high schools. The
number of Armenian teachers is 3 thousand.
