Peacekeepers will only enter Ukraine with UNSC permission

The UN Secretary General’s spokesman Farhan Haq said that peacekeepers will only enter Ukraine with the permission of the UNSC. He did not rule out the possibility of their unofficial deployment, TASS reports.

Spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said yesterday that the topic of peacekeepers will be discussed by experts. The issue will be clarified after the meeting of the Russian, German and French leaders on February 6.
