American athletes have given 18 homeless dogs in Sochi a new shelter, following the example of freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy, who had given a home to two Russian dogs, TASS reports.Two puppets, Fred and Jimmy, have recently been given shelter after the other 18 dogs.Journalist Robin McDonald took five puppies to the U.S., snowboarder Lindsey Jacobellis, ice hockey player David Backes and other athletes did the same.
