Italy against tougher anti-Russian sanctionsItalian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said that Italy opposes tougher sanctions against Russia, RIA Novosti reports.The minister also commented on the possible supply of US weapons Ukraine. "There are those who offer to send weapons in Ukraine, the debate on this issue is going on in the United States. We, Italians, as well as the Germans, the French and the British believe that the only way to prevent this terrible danger is with the help of negotiations and dialogue. But Russia has to meet us halfway," he said.
