Earthquake in southern Azerbaijan

An earthquake measuring 4.0 points occurred to the south of the town of Kurdamir in the Kurdamirski region.

The earthquake was recorded at 4:12:35 (MSK) on February 9, according to a message posted on the website of the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). 

The earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 40 kilometers, Trend reports.
