Normandy format may become first step towards peace in Ukraine

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has said today that the Minsk talks in the Normandy format did not mean the end of the crisis, the situation in Donbas remained very unstable. He expressed hope that no escalation of violence would happen and the talks tomorrow would become the first step towards peace, RIA Novosti reports.
