GDP and incomes of the population increase in Azerbaijan

The growth of the nominal money income of the residents of the country in January 2015 reached AZN 2.7 billion, which is 5.5% more than in January last year, the State Statistics Committee said.

GDP grew by 4.4% and its volume reached AZN 3.6 billion. The non-oil GDP rose by 5.5% and oil and gas GDP soared by 3.1%.

 The industry occupies the most important place in the structure of the GDP - 34%, building - 10.6%, agriculture - 3.4%, transport - 6.6%, trade and services - 10.3%, communications - 2.4%. 

Overall GDP growth in the current year is projected by the government at 4.4%, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
