Alexei Pushkov: “The main goal is to cease fire and start the political process”

The head of the State Duma Committee for International Affairs, Alexei Pushkov, comments on the current situation in the southeast of Ukraine and stresses that the conflict can be settled only by peaceful means; and the main goal is a ceasefire. Talks between leaders of Germany, Russia, France and Ukraine on a settlement of the situation in Donbas took place in Minsk. They lasted for 16 hours and ended with a declaration that fire in the east of Ukraine would be ceased on February 15th.
