Women's Russian hockey team wins the Universiade

The Russian national women's hockey team won the Winter Universiade in the Spanish city of Granada.

Russia defeated Canada 3-0 in the women’s hockey final. It was Russia’s second consecutive win against Canada in Granada, as they previously beat the team 3-1 in preliminary play.

In the group stage of the current Universiade the teams of Russia and Canada have already met each other, when the success of the Russians was also celebrated - 3: 1. 

The bronze medalist of the Universiade-2015 is the team of Japan.
