Poroshenko confirms martial law will be introduced in Ukraine if ceasefire fails

The head of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, confirmed today that, if the ceasefire fails in the south-east of Ukraine, martial law will be introduced in the country.

Earlier, Poroshenko said that the peace deal was in danger. He also accused Russia of significantly increasing its offensive, despite the peace agreement reached on Thursday.
