Anatoly Antonov and Iosif Kobzon are on new EU 'blacklist'

The European Union has expanded its blacklist, adding 19 individuals and 9 companies.

 

The Russian citizens on the list are the Deputy Defense Minister, Anatoly Antonov, the deputy chief of Russia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces, Andrey Kartapolov, the first deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Culture, Iosif Kobzon, and the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ethnicity Issues, Valery Rashkin.

 

14 residents of eastern Ukraine and 9 organizations were also covered by the new EU sanctions.The restrictive measures entered into force after being published in the EU Official Journal today.
