Sargsyan and Tsarukyan hold a meeting

A meeting between President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan took place on February 17. 

Secretary of the Dashnaktsutyun faction Aghvan Vardanyan said that the meeting was held on the initiative of Tsarukyan and the Republican Party.

Vardanyan added that in the last few days his party has done everything it could so that the country could avoid clashes and shocks.

Yesterday, the 'Prosperous Armenia', 'Armenian National Congress' and 'Heritage' parties submitted an application to hold a rally in Yerevan on February 20. The Yerevan Mayor's Office refused to sanction the rally, Interfax-Azerbaijan reported.
