UN Security Council adopts a resolution on the Minsk arrangements

Members of the UN Security Council on Tuesday unanimously approved a Russian resolution expressing support for the Minsk settlement arrangements. 

The UN Security Council called on all parties to fully implement the Package of Measures, including a comprehensive ceasefire.

In addition, a resolution of the situation in the eastern regions of Ukraine could only be achieved through a peaceful settlement of the current crisis. 

The Security Council also expressed "its full respect for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine," TASS reports.
