Russia will not reverse programs to improve the business climate, even during the crisis, the chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin said.

"Despite all the difficulties, with all the risks, the Russian economy continues to develop and the Russian market remains one of the most attractive in the European Union," he said at a meeting of the round table "Fresh opportunities for cooperation and risks in the current economic conditions".

"At the same time, Russia is not going to stop the program to improve the business climate, and even in the difficult financial and budgetary situation, Russia will continue to fund large infrastructure projects, will continue to promote mechanisms for public-private partnerships and tools of project financing," the head of the lower house of parliament said, confirming that a number of regions will have the status of special economic zones and territories of priority development.

The politician confirmed that Russia sees and appreciates the desire of foreign investors to maintain mutually beneficial partnership and trust.
