Ukrainian president does Russia’s mediating services

 

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said at a meeting with European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement today that Russia should not be involved in the future peacekeeping mission in Donbas, Interfax reports.“Russia is the aggressor state, it cannot and will not take part in a peacekeeping operation in Ukraine,” emphasized the Ukrainian leader. “We will not agree to a format of a peacekeeping mission that would legalize the multi-thousand Russian military presence, we have enough of such “peacekeepers,”” stated Poroshenko.
