Russia starts supplying Donetsk and Luhansk with gas

 

Luhansk Prime Minister Gennady Tsypkalov said that Russia started supplying Donbas with gas at 4.25-4.45pm. He clarified that two Stavropol-Moscow gas pipelines were running through Donbas, the first one could be used by Donetsk, the second by Luhansk, Interfax reports.Donbas consumes about 12 million cubic meters of gas a day in winter (5 million in Luhansk, 7 million in Donetsk). The consumption evaluation excludes the gas demand of industry.
