Ankara and Washington agree on program for Syrian opposition forces

Turkey and the United States have signed an agreement on a 'train-and-equip' program for Syrian opposition forces.

The information was confirmed today at the US Embassy in Turkey. 

In addition, it is reported that the two countries will send special equipment to Syria. 

The document was signed by Foreign Ministry Under Secretary Feridun Sinirlioglu and U.S. Ambassador to Turkey John Bass.
